2024

The last Photo Week of 2024! The last couple of weeks have been busy with holiday events and travel, mixed with a lot of relaxing and eating.

2024 was a wild year. I think I will remember a few things from 2024:

• Starting the year off with the worst sickness ever for our family (and also going to the ER for dehydration haha)
• Seeing Junie's personality grow - a lot of talking, a lot of love for different IPs and characters, and a lot of talking back (sigh)
• A lot of fun trips and intentional hangouts - learning how to nurture friendships and relationships in adulthood
• A lot of reading!!! (which was replaced by Pokemon The Card Game these last two months, but I am ready to get back into reading in 2025)
• And a lot of golf!!! At least in the last couple of weeks/months. Hopefully I can continue to practice and break 130 in 2025.
• Getting laid off - and feeling very supported in the job search by former coworkers and friends. And now starting a new contract gig! Yay for employment (although let's be real, I will miss all the free time...)

I feel determined and cautiously positive heading into 2025 - may your outlook on 2025 be as smiley as the smiley face that Junie drew.
