Finally Friday

This week has been a pretty long week of work. It was hard coming back to work after break, it was hard coming to work on Martin Luther King Day when a lot of other people had it off, it’s hard getting the energy to wake up every morning to face another day of work.

But as my coworker said it, if we had to go back to work somewhere, our company isn’t such a bad place to come back to.

Yesterday on my way home from work, there were several people surrounding me talking to their coworkers about awful situations at work – and it made me very, very grateful that I am able to work at a place where I feel at peace and comfortable, while still being challenged – “challenged” meaning “sometimes I don’t know what the heck I’m doing but I try my best to figure it out with the occasional panic attack”.

I’m pretty sure next week will be another long week, but hopefully the positivity and encouragement I got from my coworkers this week will help carry me through next week.
