Photo Week #12

Two things that made brought me joy this week – happy yellow flowers and not dropping half of my blueberry hand pies on the floor.

Oh wait! A third thing! I got my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine last week – I mean, did I even really get it if I didn’t post it on Instagram? (Just kidding, I couldn’t figure out how to take a cute photo so I just gave up.) I don’t know why I got lucky enough to get an appointment before I’m technically eligible (unless I’m immunocompromised and nobody told me) but I’m glad that I’m halfway there. I know I should be feeling hopeful that everyone is getting the vaccine and yes! It is good and I am hopeful! But to me it also signals the start of things going “back to normal” which means having to confront what it means for my job. Maybe I don’t want things to go back to normal… but then I feel guilty about feeling that way. I guess we will see.
