Photo Week #14

A surefire sign of a good vacation is the post-vacation blues that hit the Monday after… really feeling the blues today in my room staring at the dark gloomy sky outside instead of enjoying the sun at Joshua Tree National Park or sitting at a cafe with friends!

We spent our day in the park hiking the Ryan Mountain trail (according to the trail guide and map we picked up, a very popular trail) and looking at the cholla cactuses. There was even a mini super-bloom on the side of the road, and this photo does not do it justice to how pretty it was to see all the flowers waving to us in the breeze.

Joe and Christine’s wedding this past weekend was also very pretty – and of course it is always fun to dance the night away with friends who are willing to be just as dorky on the dance floor as you are.
