Photo Week #34

Week 33 consisted of trying to adjust back to work after essentially a week off at SIGGRAPH, revisiting Berkeley again, and driving to Socal. Not a lot of fun photos.

Week 34 is much more fun, because we went to Disneyland!

We started the day off in California Adventures, where we were able to get a spot for the Spiderman ride. It was so fun, and honestly I got pretty winded during the ride (it’s a very active one).

Then after lunch it was over to Star Wars land, which was bigger and better than I had expected – I had tried to keep my expectations low, since Harry Potter world in Universal was smaller than I had anticipated, so I was pleasantly surprised.

It was a good day at Disneyland, and then we came back and got covid tested and the results were negative, so extra win!

We came back on Tuesday, and then on Friday, we had our gender reveal! I had 100% convinced myself the baby was going to be a boy, and so for the first couple of minutes after I saw pink confetti I was in shock. I am still pretty terrified at having a girl, but in all honesty it’s probably the same amount of fear for having a boy as well, since everything is unknown. (insert shrug emoji here)
