Photo Week #39

On October 1st, I went to go change my calendar and realized… that it was still stuck in July. If I used emojis in this blog, I would use the one with the woman facepalming. To be fair, I did regularly change the calendar downstairs in the living room but apparently I just did not have the time to change the one in our bedroom.

But October is here! Fall is here! To celebrate, I made an apple pie.

I even put it in the effort to flute the edges, but when it baked all the nice crimped edges went away… although I realized my pie pan is actually 9.5 inches instead of the normal 9 so maybe if I had actually rolled the crust thinner and made the crimping lie on top of the edge of the pan, it would have looked better. Oh well!
