Photo Week #52 (and a Happy New Year!)

Happy new year, everyone! I don’t have a lot of photo evidence of my last week of 2017, which just goes to show that it was a pretty quiet week that I probably spent playing too much Super Mario Odyssey.

Normally, in December, I would spend a lot of time reading end of year “Best of” lists and articles that sum up all that was good, bad and ugly in the past year. This year, I didn’t try to seek any of those articles out. I think I’d rather look forward to what may happen in 2018. Since I’m normally a very nostalgic person that can too easily live in the past, I guess this is a change of heart and a (maybe?) step in a positive direction towards not feeling too overwhelmed by change and new things.

Or maybe I am thinking too highly of myself and the real reason I didn’t read as many lists this year was because I was just lazy. Waking up at 10am or later every morning can really cut into the amount of free time you have to do useless things. But! I told myself I would give myself a break until January 3rd, so starting tomorrow I will try my best to diligently use my new agenda and give myself reasonable and attainable but challenging goals. Starting tomorrow!
