Photo Weeks #18

Photo Week 17 was a blur of figuring out what I needed to pack and get ready for our vacation. The week before vacation always seems too long and too short at the same time - laundry to do, last minute travel things to buy, and not knowing until I actually fully pack whether or not everything will fit. I am amazed by people who know how to pack light. True, I do have to pack for two, but you'd think Junie's things are so small that it shouldn't matter that much. I guess I do have to account for diaper space. That will be another win when we are fully potty trained (that's been a whole other journey, which I am disappointed in... but that will be a story for another time).

Vacation was great! I felt very burnt out by the end, but today I am in a grateful mood. (Am I a bad mom if I felt so much lighter dropping Junie off at daycare today? Maybe...? Maybe not.) We even saw turtles!!!! That was one of the coolest parts. There were three swimming so close to us.

Anyways. I'm glad I took today off from work as well so I can do the most important thing... catch up on all the crosswords from last week.
