Photo Week #27

Okay, I know I've been saying how much I love summer and how summer is the best season but the heat waves always makes me rethink that statement. Our poor environment!!

Thankfully we were able to stay somewhat cool and busy this week, and Junie had a blast with Auntie Eva putting on fake tattoos. I didn't scrub the wine glass one off in time for the first day back at daycare, but hopefully the teachers didn't notice...

Also had an omakase birthday dinner this past week, which was so delicious!! I love sushi. It's worth the day-after puffiness. Just look at this caviar and toro goodness!! So yum.

The chef asked us what we were doing afterwards and I said go back home to sleep and think about this meal. This past weekend we actually got to sleep a lot (maybe because it was so hot, Junie slept in?) and now I feel well-rested, well-fed, and hopefully will be productive at work this week...
