Photo Week #31

The first weekend of a busy August, done! Junie had a school day off on Friday so we went to the zoo with Auntie Eva. We've been to the zoo a handful of times since she was born and every time she does more and more - last time we came with Eva, she didn't really talk, but now she was able to remember what she saw (although she was fixated on seeing "polar bears"). Unfortunately still not quite tall enough to ride the rides... which was very sad for my thrill-seeking, cars-loving kid.

Anyways, looking forward to August and hopefully not feeling too overwhelmed by all of the things. These last couple of weeks have felt long and short at the same time - which generally then leads to me feeling like I drop the ball on too many things or I feel slightly panicky that I cannot handle everything at once. But! Taking it one week at a time. It will be fun. It will be fine. We can do this!
