Photo Weeks #40 and #41

Had a very prescient fortune cookie this weekend - always a fun time seeing old friends and of course even more happy to be celebrating Cathy and Richard. Also felt very classy taking black and white photos at the photobooth!

To be honest I pretty much spent the rest of last week and the week before that in survival mode, trying to keep on top of work, house work, Junie and sickness. But we made it! We made it. We also made it through hopefully the last of the heat waves and I'm sure in the next month you will see a photo of the yellow gingko tree leaves on this blog.

I also didn't realize that praying mantises change colors! I saw a bright green one the other day on the window, and then a couple days later, I saw a brown one. I wonder if it is the same one.
